Based in the United Kingdom, the Hong Kong Studies Association (HKSA) primarily provides a network for scholars in European institutions but aims to connect with students and academics from across the world. The professional association is non-profit and non-political, committed to academic rigor and political neutrality.
HKSA seeks to provide a platform to share, promote and facilitate individual and collaborative research on Hong Kong; to foster a community of interest among specialists on Hong Kong working in European universities and research institutions; to promote publications on topics relating to Hong Kong in all relevant disciplines as well as further the exchange of ideas through events and conferences. The association is committed to develop collaborative relationships with other initiatives devoted to Hong Kong studies.
HKSA would like to thank Caila Wong for designing the association's logo.
